Sign the Petition to Rebuild the Carterton-Witney-Eynsham-Oxford Railway

For the last three years, Charlie Maynard (our parliamentary candidate for Witney) has been leading the drive to rebuild the railway as Chair of the Witney Oxford Transport Group. A train would give us a fast, reliable, green transport solution with Oxford reachable in 9 minutes from Eynsham, in 16 minutes from Witney and 22 minutes from Carterton (read more about the train project and Charlie's involvement here; his Google Earth presentation on a proposed route can be seen here)

Congestion on the A40 is terrible and getting worse. By 2031, the A40 is forecast to be 30 minutes slower, even under current improvement plans. Rebuilding the train line is an ambitious project and we need your support. If you'd like to see the train line restored—please sign the petition below. Also, please share it as widely as possible with friends and colleagues who'd also like to see our towns and communities reconnected by train.
