Hydropower on the Upper Thames

We need much more renewable energy. Community hydropower has been successfully installed at weirs on the Thames including at Sandford, Osney and Reading. In 2022, I commissioned a feasibility study from Renewables First to explore which weirs on the Upper Thames have substantial hydropower potential. David Jeffcoat is now the leader of the project and we are working together to take this community project forward. Find out more at www.upperthameshydro.com.
