Save Roundham Crossing
Closure means no access to canal and footpaths for many residents.
Roundham Crossing remains a significant local concern, particularly for Begbroke and Kidlington residents and those concerned about connectivity between communities. A petition has been presented to Oxfordshire County Council, and further discussions are expected once proposals for Begbroke station are better understood.
The next community meeting will be held on 2nd September at Exeter Hall. This will update residents on any requests received from Network Rail, as well as the work being carried out by Oxfordshire County Council in relation to Begbroke Station.
Future proposals should be considered alongside planned growth in the area and proposals for rail upgrades, and the need for safe, accessible walking and cycling routes. Please join the community meeting at Exeter Hall on the 2nd September at 7pm.
