John WILLETT

Your Liberal Democrat candidate for the Bicester North & Caversfield ward

John lives with his wife in Bicester and has lived here for over 30 years.  He previously lived in Greater London in an area that used to be Conservative and saw first-hand the improvements that happened when the local council went Liberal Democrat and wants to see the same thing happening here.

He has already campaigned for local drainage ditches to be kept weed-free to prevent flooding and for footpaths to be paved when it is clear that routes are being regularly used, so they do not become mud baths. He is for the countryside and is against closing ancient byways that should remain open to all traffic.

It is John's goal to see Bicester as the thriving market town it should be; he already put in a detailed submission to East West Rail to keep the London Road open to traffic and takes a great interest in that the much needed changes to Market Square should be in the interest of local businesses and residents of the town and should enhance the town and that local people should be fully consulted about what happens.

He is a Liberal Democrat because he sees it as the only party that is truly interested in listening to and serving the electorate and their interests rather than being self-serving.

John is a local businessman and runs his own company distributing professional audio products across the country and is an expert in his field.
