Correspondence with Thames Water 24/07/2027

Layla would be grateful for some further clarification regarding the anticipated completion date of the traffic-affecting works at Osney Bridge. We note that your email states these works are scheduled to be completed in August. However, our understanding is that the anticipated completion date has changed a number of times over recent months, having previously been indicated as March/April, then July, and more recently mid-August.

We are particularly keen to understand the current position following Network Rail's recent announcement of a further delay to the wider Botley Road project. The works are very significant for local residents and businesses, and constituents continue to contact Layla regarding ongoing disruption in the areas. It would be helpful if Thames Water could confirm the expected dates for reopening the pedestrian footpath, cycle lane, carriageway, and Thames towpath access to Osney bridge. 

We appreciate that major infrastructure projects can be subject to change, but any further information you are able to provide would assist us in responding accurately to constituents' concerns.
